I believe these words were written by Cora MacNeill, and she sent the photo (which is printed on a post card) to her sister and my mother, Eva Ruby MacNeill. My mom couldn’t remember what the occasion was –however, it was likely something special like a christening or wedding. Some say it was the wedding of Ellen MacNeill and Albert Mabey, but that can’t be so because their son Oscar is in the photo, and looks to be about 3-4 years old)
