About Our KNOX Branch

John is descended from a Catherine Knox, who was married to William Anderson. They lived in Ireland, where they had at least two children, Elizabeth and Robert Anderson. Both Elizabeth and Robert were born in Ireland, but they died in Arran Township, Bruce County, Ontario. This brother and sister were married on the same day (a double wedding ceremony), and Catherine Knox was the name stated as their mother, on their marriage registers.
